The razor manufacturer has been located in Lüneburg for 63 years. The family-run company is managed by Michael Kalb and his two sons, Björn and Marco.
“Originally, we both pursued different educational paths, one as a carpenter and the other as a car mechanic. But our innate passion for knives quickly drew us to the business. Besides a wide selection of small electrical appliances, steel goods, razors, pocket knives, kitchen and hunting knives, personal care products, and much more, we offer expert advice and repairs. We are grateful for our loyal customer base, whom we can advise effectively with our expertise.”
Our many years of experience are also reflected in our close and constructive collaboration with Böker. This has allowed us to contribute to the development of various knife series, sharing our expertise and market knowledge. In connection with the joint development of our CDC knife, I also enjoy mentioning that my parents personally delivered the oak log from the historic Lüneburg bell tower, intended for the handle scales, to Solingen – further evidence of our excellent business relationship.
With three men on the management team, minor disagreements are bound to happen from time to time, but there's one thing we're absolutely certain about: our shared favorite Böker knife is the Böker Boxer Desert Ironwood . Its classic shape, timeless design, and versatility won us over instantly. Traditional knives and the use of Böhler steel hold a special appeal for us. But it's not just us who are drawn to it; our customers are too, as it's almost always sold out. While we don't carry our favorite Böker knife with us every day, we always have a Böker knife on hand.
