Resharpening service
Resharpening and sharpening of knives and razors from our Boker own productions (Made in Germany, USA and Argentina) is free of charge. You only pay the shipping costs for the round trip to you.
Currently, our sharpening service for ceramic knives is unfortunately not available. However, we are already working on a solution.
Knives from our other brands (Boker Plus, Magnum) as well as from other manufacturers can also be sent in for sharpening. Honing knives with steel blades costs between EUR 15,- and EUR 29,- incl. VAT, depending on the knife type, plus shipping costs for the round trip to you.
The prices for sharpening ceramic knives from other manufacturers range from EUR 29,- to EUR 39,- incl. VAT, depending on the amount of work involved. Sharpening an improperly sharpened razor will be charged at EUR 29,-. If a knife is sent to us that has not been cleaned, we will charge cleaning costs of EUR 29,- (incl. VAT). Please note that knives with a Scandi grind will receive a secondary bevel when resharpened in our facility.
Condition of the knife
Before you send us a knife, regardless of whether it's for a warranty repair, a cost estimate for an out-of-warranty repair, or simply for sharpening: Please clean the knife thoroughly beforehand and ensure that there are no dried liquids, fur, or similar residues on the blade or in the handle, especially with knives used for hunting. Food residues must also be removed. If we receive a knife that has not been cleaned, we will charge you a cleaning fee of EUR 29,- (incl. VAT).

Please include a problem description and a telephone number where you can be reached during the day on your cover letter. This can significantly reduce processing time in case of queries.

Versand
Please do not send any unpaid parcels to us, not even in the case of complaints or warranty claims. Unpaid parcels will not be accepted! If there is a complaint or warranty claim, please note your shipping costs on your cover letter, and we will refund them.

Repair order / complaint
Use this form to inform us about your submission in advance. This will make it easier for us to assign the submitted items and contribute to faster repair processing.
We try to process your inquiries as quickly as possible; generally, you will receive a response within 3-7 business days (Monday to Friday). Your inquiry will be processed within our business hours (Monday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM).
The processing time for repairs is usually three weeks from the receipt of your package.
During special sales promotions or holiday periods, processing times may vary.
