Description
With the Lite Trekker, the renowned TOPS company is introducing a real bushcrafter / survival knife onto the market. The 1095 carbon blade is sized generously enough at 3.3 mm, has a fully raised flat ground, and is also incredibly sharp and loves to cut. The universal blade shape is ideal for hunting work, preparing meals, processing food, and even constructing a makeshift shelter: in short, for everything that needs to be done outdoors. The traction coating is recessed at a point near the rear of the blade to make it especially effective to use with the supplied magnesium fire starter (also available separately) to produce sparks. This protects the cutting edge of the Lite Trekker and preserves the entire sharp for cutting work. The fire starter sits on the Kydex sheath in its own Kydex holder, and its rotatable clip is suitable for a variety of carrying options. To easily retrieve the knife in poor lighting conditions, a stoplight green color is embedded into the milling on the handle, matching the included lanyard.
