Warnings and safety information:

Warning and safety information: Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue. Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries. Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone. Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly. Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended, such as as a lever tool, can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.

Description

The Boker BFF Packlite Collector's Edition brings together the exceptional variety of the Packlite series in an exclusive collector's set. The collection comprises twelve fixed-blade Packlite models featuring different high-performance and premium blade steels, creating a unique overview of the various steel characteristics within the series. Limited worldwide to just 50 examples, this Collector's Edition is aimed at both demanding knife enthusiasts and collectors.

The collection includes the blade steel variants AEB-L, CPM 3V, CPM M4, Cronidur 30, Elmax SuperClean, M390 MicroClean, MagnaCut, N690, Niolox, RWL-34, Nitro-X7, and Vanadis 4 Extra SuperClean. These different material concepts are combined with the characteristic Packlite design by Lucas Burnley. From particularly tough tool steels and corrosion-resistant premium steels to modern powder metallurgy high-performance steels, the edition offers an impressive range of properties including edge retention, wear resistance, toughness, and corrosion resistance.

The comparison of the different blade steels is one of the key attractions of the Collector's Edition. CPM 3V is known for exceptional toughness and resistance to edge chipping, while CPM M4 offers very high wear resistance and edge retention. MagnaCut provides a well-balanced combination of toughness, corrosion resistance, and cutting performance. M390 MicroClean stands for particularly high wear resistance and excellent corrosion resistance. Cronidur 30 places a particular emphasis on exceptional corrosion resistance, while Vanadis 4 Extra SuperClean combines high wear resistance with pronounced toughness.

The other steels also represent different performance characteristics: AEB-L is known for its fine microstructure, good toughness, and ability to take a very fine edge. Elmax SuperClean combines high wear resistance with good corrosion resistance and toughness. N690 offers a balanced combination of edge retention, corrosion resistance, and everyday usability. Niolox provides an interesting balance of wear resistance, toughness, and corrosion resistance. RWL-34 is a high-quality powder metallurgy stainless steel with a fine microstructure and good cutting performance. Nitro-X7 combines nitrogen alloying with good corrosion resistance and balanced performance characteristics.

The consistent full-metal and skeleton construction of the BFF Packlite models provides the common foundation of the collection. The minimalist concept reduces the design to its essential elements and emphasizes the distinctive Lucas Burnley design language. As fixed-blade skeleton knives, neck knives, and hanging knives, the models represent a versatile EDC-oriented knife concept.

For collectors, the edition offers not only twelve different Packlite variants but also the opportunity to compare the characteristics of different blade steels within a single design family. The different blade materials make the collection an interesting reference for steel enthusiasts and knife collectors with a particular interest in modern blade steels.

With its worldwide limitation of 50 examples, the Boker BFF Packlite Collector's Edition has an exceptionally exclusive character. It combines Lucas Burnley design, twelve different blade steels, the characteristic Packlite full-metal construction, and an extremely limited production run into a distinctive collector's edition.
