Warnings and safety information:

Warning and safety information: Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue. Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries. Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone. Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly. Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended, such as as a lever tool, can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.

Description

Inspired by original Swiss daggers of the 15th and 16th centuries, the Boker Swiss Dagger (Baselard) bridges the line between dagger and short sword—a faithful recreation of the weapon once carried by Swiss pikemen. This historically accurate piece reflects a time when form, function, and craftsmanship were inseparable. The hand-forged C75 carbon steel blade is sharpened on both edges and features a diamond-shaped cross section, delivering exceptional rigidity and strength. Its distinctive curved pommel and crossguard, rooted in early medieval design traditions, underscore the dagger’s historical authenticity. Handle scales crafted from select local cherry wood provide a warm, reddish hue and lend the piece a refined, timeless character. The ensemble is completed by a metal scabbard, enhancing both durability and period-correct presentation. Each dagger bears an individual serial number and the Boker Tree Mark, ensuring verified authenticity. Handcrafted in the Boker Knife Manufactory in Germany, the Swiss Dagger stands as a testament to enduring craftsmanship—where history continues to live on.
