Description
The smallest member of Spyderco's popular Value Folder series, the Ambitious is an ultra-compact cutting tool that doesn't need to hide from the big boys. In its lightweight configuration, it trades the G-10 scales of the original for injection molded fiberglass reinforced nylon (FRN) with a grippy Bi-Directional Texture pattern. The Ambitious Lightweight Black Blade goes a step further, wrapping the flat-ground 8Cr13MoV stainless steel blade in a non-reflective black oxide coating. In keeping with this theme, the handle's fully-skeletonized stainless steel liners, four-way convertible pocket clip and other hardware are also coated in black. The familiar LinerLock mechanism keeps the blade safely and securely open during use.
