Description
Introduced in 1999, the Dyad Jr. Lightweight took the versatility of its dual-blade predecessors and expressed it with fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) handle scales. This unique Sprint Run version not only revives that classic design, but enhances it with Spyderco's proprietary CPM SPY27 blade steel and the benefits of bolt-on construction. The two satin finished blades consist of a Saber Grind serrated Sheepfoot blade and a full-flat ground PlainEdge clip-point blade. Together they offer outstanding cutting performance and are suitable for cutting everything from tough, fibrous materials to delicate cutting work. Both blades feature the characteristic thumb hole for one- or two-handed opening. They lock securely using a unique “bypass” design with two independent backlock locks with matching recesses. The scales of the knife are injection molded in a distinctive cobalt blue - one of the signature colors of the CPM SPY27 Elite Series - and feature a traditional Volcano Grip texture pattern for a non-slip grip. The Dyad Jr. Lightweight is a remarkable resurrection of a true Spyderco classic and is designed specifically for pocket carry.
