Description
Austin McGlaun from Georgia designed the CRKT Du Hoc in honor of his late uncle, who fought on the infamous cliffs during the Allied landings in Normandy and was awarded the Silver Star for outstanding bravery. With the help of Ryan Johnson of RMJ Tactical, the folding knife version of the Karambit was perfected from the tip of the curved blade to the ring at the end of the handle. The coated blade is made of D2 and offers outstanding stability. The sturdy G10 handle scales are finely textured and offer optimum grip even in poor weather conditions. The intuitive operating concept is underlined by the spring assisted opening flipper and deadbolt lock for opening and unlocking the blade.
