Warnings and safety information:

Warnings and Safety Information: Cuts: The most common hazard when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue. Knife Slippage: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injury. Injuries from Falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone. Dull Knives: Dull knives pose a greater risk of injury because they require more force to sharpen and are more likely to slip. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly. Misuse: Using a knife for tasks for which it was not intended (e.g., as a prying tool) can not only damage the blade but also lead to accidents.

Description

The enormous interest in our extraordinary collector's knife, the Boker Tirpitz-Damascus, for many years has convinced us to design another model with the historical Damascus steel. The Boker Tirpitz-Damascus Wood is much flatter with a thickness of around 10 millimeters and appears significantly more elegant in its lines due to the continuous scales made of local walnut wood. The matte wood of the contoured handle scales is milled three-dimensionally using CNC technology, and the front proudly presents the coat of arms and lettering of the Tirpitz.

The sister ship of the legendary Bismarck was the largest battleship ever launched for the German Navy. Immediately after the end of World War II, a Norwegian specialized company began to salvage the ship, which had sunk off the Norwegian coast, in order to make the high-alloy steel available for civilian purposes.

Norwegian divers have recovered parts of the Tirpitz's special armor from the fjord for Boker. From these pieces of living history, the Boker Damascus smith exclusively forges an extraordinary Damascus with a fascinating history. The Large Pyramid pattern in 300 layers distinguishes the powerful blade of hand-forged Damascus steel and makes the knife a highlight of any knife collection.

However, the combination of Tirpitz steel with carbon tool steels also results in an extremely durable Damascus, which, with a Rockwell hardness of 61 to 63 HRC, is up to any task in everyday use. The blade is locked by a 1.5-millimeter-thick liner lock, and the blade is opened with the help of the detachable thumb stud. With clip (tip-up). The knife is delivered in a high-quality transparent display box with a certificate and serial number.
