Warnings and safety information:

Warning and safety information: Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue. Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries. Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone. Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly. Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended, such as as a lever tool, can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.

Description

The Boker P08-Damast boot dagger uniquely bridges the world of fine knives with historic military heritage. The P08, also known as the Parabellum Pistol or simply the Luger, remains legendary to this day, admired for its exceptional precision and reliability. Designed by Georg Luger, the innovative toggle-lock system with short-recoil barrel made the P08 remarkably compact and robust. Complementing this was the 9 mm Luger (9×19 NATO) cartridge—also developed by Luger—which was among the most powerful handgun calibers of its time and remains the most widely used service caliber worldwide. Adopted as the standard sidearm of the German armed forces during both World Wars, the P08 quickly achieved international recognition. As early as 1914, it was in service with the armies of Bulgaria, the Netherlands, Portugal, and Turkey, and remained a highly sought-after trophy weapon until the end of the Second World War. Manufacturing the pistol required approximately 14 kilograms of steel, and its intricate design demanded unprecedented precision, setting new standards in firearms production. Its unmistakable silhouette secured a lasting place in popular culture, unrivaled by almost any other pistol. The Boker P08-Damast incorporates defining design elements of this iconic firearm and features a truly unique Damascus blade forged from original P08 barrel steel. The exceptional Damascus is hand-forged by renowned bladesmith Chad Nichols in the distinctive Boomerang pattern. The compact boot dagger is fitted with handle scales crafted from certified imported rosewood, echoing the classic, understated checkering of the P08’s grip. Even the mounting screws mirror the construction used on the original pistol, while the angle of the handle sides reflects the conical profile of the exposed barrel. The bolsters and pommel are made from steel and finished with a dark stonewashed surface, lending the dagger a restrained, tactical elegance. The knife is supplied with a high-quality black leather sheath featuring a sewn-in Ulticlip, allowing secure attachment while enabling quick and effortless draw. The locking spring clip ensures the sheath remains firmly in place at all times. Handcrafted in the Boker Knife Manufactory in Solingen, the P08-Damast is delivered with a premium floating display, a certificate of authenticity, and an individual serial number, affirming its status as an exceptional collector’s piece.
