Warnings and safety information:

Warning and safety information: Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue. Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries. Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone. Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly. Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended, such as as a lever tool, can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.

Description

Unbridled power with a refined soul. Temperamental yet composed. The horizon stretches wide as everyday life fades into the distance. Rough asphalt, weathered yellow lines, and drifting desert dust rush past as the highway unfolds endlessly ahead. Soon, that vastness becomes freedom—sunset wraps the landscape and the mind in warm light, carried by a gentle breeze. The deep, resonant sound of the Windsor V8 small-block engine, delivering 250 horsepower, calms the senses, transforming a Ford Mustang road trip into a moment of pure intensity and serenity. Inspired by the legendary P-51 Mustang fighter aircraft of World War II, Ford introduced its own Mustang in the early 1960s, bringing it to market in April 1964. As a compact sports coupe, the affordable pony car—adorned with the iconic galloping horse emblem—captured the spirit of a younger generation. To stand apart from highly motorized rivals from Dodge, Pontiac, and Chevrolet, Ford made a bold statement in the muscle car segment with the Mustang Mach-1. Introduced in 1969, the first-generation Mach-1 was available exclusively as a fastback and featured numerous visual and performance enhancements over the standard model. A sport suspension, matte black racing stripes, cowl-induction hood, chrome-plated exhaust tips and fuel cap, hood pins, front and rear spoilers, and a refined interior helped propel sales to more than 72,000 units, cementing its legendary status. Over the decades, the Mustang has become the embodiment of the muscle car and continues its legacy today in its seventh generation. Boker captures the unmistakable design language of the vehicle and brings the legend to life in the 1969 Mach-1 Damast. Authentic components from the wheel hub, wishbone, and suspension were incorporated into the blade material itself. The fine 84-layer Damascus blade, hand-forged by Chad Nichols in the Wavepool pattern, reflects both motion and mechanical heritage. The ball-bearing blade, with its distinctive ricasso, opens smoothly via a removable thumb stud. Powerful torque from the handle design, combined with a robust stainless steel liner lock, ensures confident and secure operation. Finger recesses in the handle, crafted from lightweight yet high-strength aluminum, evoke the muscular wings of the iconic car. A gold-colored inlay on the front handle scale echoes the side trim of the Mustang’s doors and bodywork. Finished in Silver Jade, the handle accentuates the knife’s sporty character and delivers a tactile sensation reminiscent of a V8’s pulse. The sloping spine of the handle mirrors the fastback silhouette of the Mach-1, while the intricately detailed pivot screw brings the forward drive of spinning wheels to life. The straight, angular stainless steel pocket clip, milled from solid material, recalls the classic door handles of the Ford Mustang. Handcrafted in the Boker Manufactory in Solingen, the knife is presented in a high-quality floating display, complete with a sense of poised impatience and unmistakable nonchalance.
