Warnings and safety information:

Warning and safety information: Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue. Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries. Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone. Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly. Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended, such as as a lever tool, can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.

Description

Gandalf the Gray is one of the most powerful figures in Middle-earth and was sent as Istar to the people and elves to assist and advise them. In the next centuries Gandalf wandered through the different countries of Middle-earth and was a key figure in the Battle of the Five Armies as well as in the Ring War.

When the companions went through the mines of Moria to bring the Ring to Mordor, Gandalf plunged into emptiness after a short fight against the last Balrog of Morgoth. Believed dead by his companions, he survived the battle against the demon and could even kill him, but then fell into the abyss himself. Since he had not yet completely fulfilled his task, he was sent back.

After Sauron was finally defeated, Gandalf was finally able to leave Middle-earth and depart to the West with his friends Frodo and Bilbo Baggins. Galadriel, Elrond and other Elves accompanied them on there last journey.

Glamdring was the sword belonging to the King of Gondolin, who, as reported in The Silmarillion, was named Turgon. As befitted the rank of a High King, Glamdring was made with unsurpassed craftsmanship. After the fall of Gondolin it disappeared for many thousands of years. On the blade there was a runic inscription that even Gandalf could not decipher. According Elrond the inscription was written in the runes of Gondolin, which obviously was not written in the Cirth script. It was found by Gandalf, the dwarves and Bilbo Baggins in the treasure belonging to a troll, together with its sister blade Orcrist and a dagger that Bilbo baptised Sting. How it got there, no one could explain. As with Sting and Orcrist, it shimmers blue in the presence of orcs.

The blade of this high-quality replica is made of 420J2 stainless steel. The sword handle is provided with an authentic leather cover, pommel and crossguard have an antique metal finish. With high-quality hardwood wall display.

Decorative collector's sword, not suitable for use.
