Description
Description
With an average blade length of 4.57 inches, these knives are specially dimensioned for use with gloves (including
heavy heat-protective gloves). The handle scales are uniformly made of heat resistant G10 with a non-slip
Dönges honeycomb structure. All knives have a 4-way reversible wire clip (for tip-up, tip-down r/l carry modes),
blades made of edge retention D2 with a ball-bearing axle, jimpings at the blade base for fibrous material, a
retractable belt-cutter and a glass-breaker.
The all black Professional Tactical has a steep tanto point with a chisel grind on one side. Special consideration was given here to the requirements of officers on patrol duty and law enforcement agencies. They regularly have to remove stickers from licence plates when vehicles are immobilized. Before the police equipment was standardized to the short extendable baton (EKA), the previous baton had a scraper in the end of the handle specifically for this purpose. The omission of the new baton has created a functional gap that is now filled by the Dönges Professional Tactical. The blade can be opened either by finger flipper or thumb stud.
