Description
Easily recognizable by its Z-shaped profile, Spyderco's US-made Z-Cut series takes the time-tested concept of the “offset” knife to a whole new level. Offset kitchen knives are unique because their handles are positioned above the blade rather than in line with it. As with a classic chef's knife, the blade is thus aligned with the knuckles and at the same time provides sufficient clearance for the fingers when working on a chopping board. In contrast to a conventional chef's knife, however, offset knives are much smaller, lighter and more versatile. The pointed version of Spyderco's Z-Cut knife combines all the advantages of the offset design with a defined tip that is perfect for detailed cutting work. The pointed Z-Cuts feature corrosion-resistant blades made from CTS BD1N stainless steel. The ergonomic polypropylene handle comes in a refreshing green color.
