Inspired by the iconic Nessmuk hunting knives of adventurer George Washington Sears, the compact M.U.K. features a characteristically full-bellied skinner blade made from Swedish 14C28N steel. This steel has proven its high edge retention and corrosion resistance in tough outdoor use. The blade shape, sturdy full tang construction, and ergonomic lightweight orange G10 handle scales provide precise cuts, maximum stability, targeted control, and excellent visibility in natural environments.

Matthew „Matt“ Gentry ist der Gründer und Messermacher von Gentry Custom Knives (GCK) aus dem US-Bundesstaat Michigan. In seiner Werkstatt fertigt er individuelle Messer nach den Wünschen seiner Kunden und legt dabei großen Wert auf handwerkliche Qualität, Funktionalität und persönliche Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten. Jedes Messer wird nach den gewünschten Spezifikationen aufgebaut und kann mit unterschiedlichen Stählen sowie einer Vielzahl von Griffmaterialien ausgestattet werden.
Neben seinen eigenen GCK-Designs bietet Matt Gentry auch vollständig individuelle Anfertigungen an – von der ersten Skizze bis zum fertigen Messer.
