Description
Description
The Bright Lapland celebrates northern Scandinavian knife traditions and is a tool often used as a utility knife by the indigenous Sámi people with its classic design. The Sámi use these large knives (lauku) in their daily mobile life. This large knife has a 12C27 stainless steel blade that is not laminated. The blade is relatively thin and allows for effective cutting. The barrel-shaped handle is made of birch with brass fittings. Suitable for medium to large hands. The knife sits deep in its traditional leather sheath and is secured with a leather strap. A great knife for the camp and together with a classic small knife it is a perfect team member in your tool collection. The name Lapland refers to the northern region that stretches across and connects the northern parts of Finland, Norway and Sweden.
