Description
This elite Sprint Run version of the Manix 2 Lightweight features a blade made of CPM 15V, an exceptional material that offers the highest wear resistance of any cold work steel available today. Its unique alloy composition contains almost 15 percent vanadium and creates an exceptionally high volume of vanadium carbides in its microstructure. In knife blades, this results in breathtaking cutting performance and edge retention. Spyderco's limited edition CPM 15V knife family is further enhanced by a special heat treatment protocol developed by renowned knifemaker Shawn Houston. This pocket knife incorporates all the proven elements of this design, including a high-strength ball bearing lock mechanism and a reversible pocket clip (tip-up). To clearly identify it as a member of the CPM 15V family, it also features brown FRCP handle scales and Shawn Houston's “Triple B” logo laser engraved on the back of the full-flat ground blade.
