Description
With its straight handle and long, narrow and straight cutting edge, the carpenter's axe offers the precision that every craftsman needs. The finger notch in the axe head enables a grip where the hand is placed almost exactly over the center of the cutting edge, which increases precision when working. The axe head is made of carbon steel and comes from the Hults Bruk forge. The forging tradition dates back to 1697. This axe is named after one of Hults Bruk's most experienced blacksmiths from the first half of the 20th century, Ernst Stålberg. The curved handle is made of shock-elastic American hickory for fatigue-free work. Supplied with a high-quality leather sheath.
