Description
Known for his imaginative designs, knife designer John Kubasek from Massachusetts answers the question of the hen and the egg with the unusual and innovative Boker Plus L'Egg. The handy neck knife owes its name to the egg-shaped construction of the textured G10 handle scales, which completely enclose the satin-finished D2 clippoint blade like a protective eggshell when closed. The ingenious mechanism of the handle sides sliding against each other is securely locked in place by a magnet. The lightweight knife is supplied with a practical ball chain.

John Kubasek

Der amerikanische Messermacher John Kubasek aus Massachusetts fertigt bereits seit 1988 eigene Messer und konnte schon damals auf seine langjährigen Erfahrungen aus der Messerindustrie zurückgreifen. Nachdem er in den ersten Jahren seiner Selbstständigkeit vornehmlich feststehende Messer entworfen hat, konzentrierte er sich seit der Jahrtausendwende auf innovative Taschenmesser mit außergewöhnlichen Mechanismen und Formen. Er ist Mitglied der amerikanischen Messermacher Gilde und heute international für seine einfallsreichen Entwürfe wie dem Credit Card Knife im handlichen Kreditkartenformat oder dem praktischen Dog Tag Knife bekannt. Mit seinen einfallsreichen Entwürfen überzeugt er unzählige Messerfreunde.
