With its breathtaking landscapes, the Swabian Alb is one of the most popular holiday regions in Germany and also offers the ideal playground for nature lovers of all ages. In the idyllic town of Pfullingen, owner Klaus Weiß followed the call of nature and realized his dream of owning his own specialty shop: "My many years of experience as a temporary soldier in the German Armed Forces provided the foundation for me to open the BW-US Shop in Pfullingen in February 1982, offering a wide range of durable clothing, military surplus, knives, and knife accessories." In 2012, the business moved to larger premises and has since operated under the name "Messerstudio Weiß" (Weiß Knife Studio). Accordingly, the knife selection was expanded, and now, for example, high-quality kitchen knives are also available. His passion for knives, which he has carried since childhood, is certainly partly responsible for this: "My enthusiasm for knives of all kinds was awakened in me as a child; for me, it was a matter of course to have a pocket knife with me. My collecting passion began when I received my first camping knife from my uncle at the age of 12. This passion continues to this day, and so I have turned my hobby into a profession."
From the very beginning, Solingen knives with the tree logo have been part of his core product range.
