The company's roots stretch back to the late 1980s, when the owner first harbored sales ambitions in his parents' sporting goods store. Jürgen Kwapil discovered his love for knives at the age of eight, when his grandfather gave him his first pocketknife. He proudly recounts, " I still own this knife today ."
