The Little Rose. We kept at Manfred Sachse until he gave the rose damascus steel of our 125th anniversary edition a new name for small blades. His efforts paid off: The Little Rose was born and is forged exclusively for this knife. The Native Americans of New Mexico add the finishing touch: They craft the handle with artistic skill. Turquoise, mother-of-pearl, and onyx have been masterfully combined into an extraordinary work of art. Each knife has a long journey behind it. The handle scales, made of desert ironwood, come from the deserts of Arizona and Mexico. Extinct for centuries, it is painstakingly tracked down and unearthed from the sand. Desert ironwood is so heavy that it doesn't float. Presented in an elegant wooden box with a collector's certificate.
