Description

The TOPS Knives River Rat is a compact fixed blade knife for EDC and outdoor use that combines a full-sized grip with a short and highly maneuverable blade. Designed by Julio Diez, the River Rat was created for situations where space is limited without sacrificing a secure and comfortable grip.

The Modified Sheepsfoot blade made from 154CM steel features a distinctive Rough Terrain finish. This stainless steel offers a reliable combination of edge retention and durability, making it particularly well suited to outdoor use. The modified Sheepsfoot blade profile combines a robust utility tip with an effective cutting edge, making the knife versatile for everyday cutting tasks, fishing, and other outdoor activities.

The black G10 handle provides a full-hand grip despite the knife’s compact construction. This allows the River Rat to be used with secure and controlled handling while helping reduce the hand fatigue often associated with very small knives. The textured handle surface further supports a confident grip in demanding conditions.

The knife includes a black Kydex sheath with a rotating spring steel clip, providing secure and flexible carry options.
