The satin-finished blade is made from state-of-the-art CPM REX 121 tool steel. This remarkable steel is known for its extreme hardness and edge retention and contains more than three percent carbon as well as high amounts of tungsten, molybdenum, vanadium and cobalt. All other features of this knife match the standard platform of the Sage 5 Lightweight, including a robust compression lock mechanism, skeletonized stainless steel liners, a reversible deep-carry wire clip (tip-up) and a lightweight, injection-molded fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) handle in a fiery orange.
