Description
The Spyderco Para Military 2 Lightweight Salt is an exceptionally lightweight and corrosion-resistant EDC folding knife that brings the proven Para Military 2 design into a weight-optimized format. Its satin-finished PlainEdge blade made from CPM MagnaCut features a full-flat grind and delivers an outstanding combination of edge retention, toughness, and extreme corrosion resistance. This makes the folding knife particularly well suited to demanding everyday use and wet environments. The handle is injection-molded from fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) and features the proven Bi-Directional Texture pattern for enhanced grip security. Its bright yellow finish improves visibility around and in the water while giving the pocket knife its distinctive Salt character. The streamlined construction and reduced number of metal components further support its lightweight design. The handle houses the robust Compression Lock, providing secure and convenient operation. A generously sized lanyard hole and a deep-pocket wire clip further enhance the practical design. The reversible deep-pocket clip allows left- or right-side tip-up carry, offering flexible positioning for different carry preferences. As with other Salt Series models, the handle components and hardware are designed with a strong focus on corrosion resistance. Combining CPM MagnaCut, a full-flat grind, yellow FRN, Compression Lock, and corrosion-resistant materials, this lightweight pocket knife is a highly versatile choice for EDC, outdoor use, and activities in wet or marine environments.
