The NW5000 is the first power bank from Nitecore that can also charge wirelessly using Apple MagSafe technology. Using magnetic technology, the mobile charger is docked onto compatible end devices, whereupon the charging process begins shortly afterwards. The magnetic connection is very stable so that the power bank cannot be shaken off. Wireless charging power of up to 15W and wired charging power of up to 20W are possible. The Nitecore NW5000 is very compact and the Forget Carbon Fiber housing is very sturdy. The power station also has a low current mode. This is automatically activated when charging wireless headphones, ear buds etc. and thus protects the connected devices. The power indicator shows the charge status of the power bank at all times.
