Description
This elite version of the Military 2 features a fully flat ground blade made from CPM MagnaCut, a state-of-the-art particle metallurgy steel that offers an exceptional balance of edge retention, toughness and superior corrosion resistance. The PlainEdge blade is coated with a non-reflective Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating and is housed in a handle with black G10 scales featuring the signature Caribbean Bi-Directional Texture pattern of Spyderco's USA-made Salt series knives. The inside of the scales is machined to accommodate the knife's skeletonized stainless steel liners, which form the basis for the high-strength compression lock mechanism. Complementing the blade steel and finish, the liners, four-way reversible pocket clip and all other hardware on the Military 2 are made of ultra-corrosion-resistant, marine-grade materials and finished with a black coating.
