Description
CPM-SPY27 was developed in close cooperation with Crucible Industries and is a cobalt-enriched powder metallurgical steel that offers an excellent balance between toughness, corrosion resistance, edge retention and easy sharpening. This steel, which is only available in Spyderco knives, forms the heart of this Manix 2 XL. It is one of Spyderco's largest and most impressive folding knives, with a wide, fully flat ground blade that takes full advantage of the properties of the blade steel. The blade is supported by a high-strength ball bearing lock and a handle with skeletonized stainless steel liners, cobalt blue, removable G-10 scales, a lanyard hole and a reversible pocket clip (tip-up).
