The name stands for "Keep It Super Simple" and this is exactly what has always been done in the development of this revolutionary knife. The simple yet ingenious idea of designing a knife handle that also locks the blade as a tang was born by American knifemaker Ed Halligan. The Tanto blade made of 3Cr13 lies close to the handle when closed. With lanyard hole and clip (tip-up).
