The Heckler & Koch FX03 is a sub-compact fixed blade that combines exceptional cutting performance with a highly portable design. Developed as a versatile everyday carry (EDC) knife, it is equally suited for daily utility tasks, outdoor adventures, bushcraft, hunting, and professional use. The robust Tanto blade is precision-ground from CPM MagnaCut® stainless steel and finished with a durable Cerakote® coating. Developed by metallurgist Larrin Thomas, MagnaCut represents one of the most advanced blade steels available today, offering an exceptional balance of edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance. Its optimized alloy composition produces an extremely fine microstructure, resulting in outstanding cutting performance, long service life, and easy maintenance. The black Cerakote® finish provides additional wear resistance while minimizing reflections.
The ergonomically contoured handle features a pronounced thumb ramp for secure control and efficient power transfer during precision cutting tasks. The screw-mounted scales are made from durable glass-fiber reinforced nylon (FRN) and feature HK's signature grip texture, providing a confident hold even in wet conditions or while wearing gloves.
