Working knives with a ring at the end of the handle have been used in Southeast Asia since the 11th century. The ring allows hands-free working with the knife without having to put it down and reduces the risk of loss. The Hawkbill blade of the 599 Karambit is made from N690 and has a black coating. It can be opened with either a wave opener or thumb hole and is locked by a liner lock. The ergonomic handle is made of black aluminum and is decorated with a skull motif. With tip-up clip (r).
