The drop-point blade made from Niolox with a Rockwell hardness of HRC 58 is designed to provide a balanced combination of edge retention, toughness, corrosion resistance, and edge stability. Niolox is a corrosion-resistant, nitrogen-alloyed knife steel distinguished from conventional stainless steels by the targeted addition of niobium, molybdenum, and chromium.
