Warnings and safety information:

Warning and safety information: Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue. Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries. Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone. Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly. Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended, such as as a lever tool, can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.

Description

Signature Edition: For collectors and connoisseurs, this is one of only five exclusive examples featuring Lucas Burnley’s engraved signature on the blade.

Minimalist design, robust full-metal construction, and a modern powder metallurgy premium steel: the Boker BFF Packlite M390 MicroClean combines the distinctive design language of US knifemaker Lucas Burnley with a configuration focused on EDC, outdoor use, and versatile cutting tasks. As a fixed-blade skeleton knife, neck knife, and hanging knife, this all-metal knife offers functional construction and flexible carry options.

The drop-point blade made from M390 MicroClean with a Rockwell hardness of HRC 60 is aimed at users looking for an especially well-balanced combination of exceptional edge retention, high wear resistance, and excellent corrosion resistance. M390 MicroClean is a powder metallurgy stainless high-performance steel developed specifically to provide very high wear resistance while maintaining excellent corrosion resistance. MicroClean powder metallurgy produces an exceptionally fine and homogeneous microstructure with evenly distributed carbides.

One of M390's greatest strengths is its exceptionally high edge retention. Its high chromium, vanadium, and molybdenum content promotes the formation of hard carbides that give the cutting edge strong resistance to abrasive wear. At the same time, its high chromium content provides excellent corrosion resistance, making M390 particularly attractive for EDC knives that may encounter a variety of environmental conditions. The hardness of HRC 60 supports high edge retention while providing a balanced foundation for a durable cutting edge.

The particular strength of M390 MicroClean therefore lies in its combination of wear resistance and corrosion resistance. Compared with many conventional stainless knife steels, M390 can maintain its cutting performance for an extended period while requiring significantly less maintenance than non-stainless tool steels. This makes it especially appealing to users looking for a compact EDC knife with high cutting performance and relatively low maintenance requirements.

The open full-metal skeleton construction emphasizes the minimalist character of the BFF Packlite. Jimping along the spine helps improve control during precise cutting tasks. The fitted Kydex sheath with ball chain allows flexible neck or hanging carry and complements the versatile EDC configuration.

Whether used as an EDC knife, neck knife, outdoor knife, or compact backup knife, the Boker BFF Packlite M390 MicroClean is aimed at demanding knife enthusiasts who prefer a modern premium steel with exceptional edge retention, high wear resistance, and excellent corrosion resistance. The combination of M390 MicroClean at HRC 60, Lucas Burnley design, full-metal construction, and Kydex sheath makes this fixed-blade knife a versatile companion for everyday and outdoor use.
