Description

The Eickhorn Aviator II, formerly known as the ASEK-I-Tanto, is a professional Eickhorn tactical and rescue knife with a Tanto blade designed for demanding operational environments. It combines the established features of the Aviator I with a new Tanto tip, which is the key difference compared with the Aviator I and its Straight Back blade profile. The Eickhorn Professional blade features a sandwich construction and an integrated saw developed for cutting through laminated safety glass in NATO aircraft. Its black Kalgard coating helps minimize reflections while slowing corrosion and providing a durable surface for demanding applications.

For versatile cutting tasks, the Eickhorn Aviator II features a serrated cutting edge and an integrated belt cutter, allowing safety belts and ropes to be cut efficiently. The fiberglass-reinforced nylon handle is electrically insulated and designed for demanding operational use. A hardened glass breaker is screwed into the end of the handle, while an integrated lanyard eyelet allows a retention lanyard to be attached securely.

The package includes a MOLLE-compatible Cordura sheath with GRN insert for flexible attachment to compatible equipment. Removable leg straps and a diamond sharpening plate are also included. With its black finish and comprehensive equipment, the Eickhorn Aviator II is a versatile professional tactical knife, rescue knife and aviation knife designed for demanding applications.
