Every year, TOPS Knives organizes an internal design competition for employees to find innovative approaches to knives. This has been going on for several years now and each time TOPS has produced a worthy winner. From the Dicer 8 to the Grandpa's Ax to the diving knives and now the Ivie, some great designs have come out of this tradition. The Ivie was designed by Cody Ivie. He is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu enthusiast and lover of knives. This may give him a head start in terms of knife knowledge, but not necessarily in terms of design. But this time it does. The Ivie is an excellent small EDC knife. It has a robust and powerful Wharncliffe blade made of 1095 carbon steel. The 2-finger handle has black Micarta scales and sits securely in the hand. Convenient and compact - This makes it very easy to carry the knife open or concealed, as a neck knife, in your pocket, on your belt, or however else you like. With Kydex sheath.
