Description
Canadian wilderness and bushcraft specialist Caleb Musgrave has used 30 years of experience to create this knife. The straightforwardness of the design with the pleasantly contoured handle shells made of linen micarta and the 2.9 mm thick drop-point blade, which is very easy to cut but nevertheless stable, set hardly any limit to the range of applications. Whether in camp, preparing food, hunting or preparing the tinder for the campfire, the TOPS D Fly 4.5 shows its strengths to the full. The MOLLE-compatible nylon sheath has a puncture protection, a front pocket and a removable lid flap. The blade is made of non-rusting 1095 carbon steel and, if handled correctly, will over time develop the patina typical of carbon steels. The high cutting durability and easy resharpening are the classic advantages of carbon steel, which can be very valuable, especially with an outdoor knife.
