Description
The TOPS B.O.B. Fieldcraft is a highly usable bushcraft knife that was developed by the "Brothers of Bushcraft". The group is based in the wilderness in the US and strives to share and disseminate knowledge and experience. They teach interested bushcrafters of all ages, experience and skill levels.
The rugged blade of the Fieldcraft 3.5 is about 9.5 cm long - significantly shorter than the original - and consists of 1095 high carbon steel. It has a hardy coating protecting it from corrosion and environmental conditions. The Scandi grind and satinized edge turn the knife into a true multitasker. The outdoor knife features scales of Micarta with an ergonomic shape and fine texture ensuring a secure grip. The ridged spin adds more grip.
The handy bushcraft knife also offers additional functionalities. The bushing on both sides of the handle can be used to make fire with a bow, while the thumb rests, also on both sides, give more control for carving. This version of the knife has a 90 degree spine, so it can be used as a striking surface for the included fire starter. The reinforced lanyard hole is larger than usual. Comes with a fitted Kydex sheath and sturdy belt clip.
