Increasingly strict laws world-wide that govern the carrying of knifes continue to restrict the choices for knives. The Boker Plus Worldwide, based on a design by Chad Los Banos, represents a configuration whose features would appear to pass legal carry requirements in most countries. The slipjoint knife has a very strong spring to ensure safe operation even without a locking mechanism, a feature further enhanced by the pronounced 90° stop of the blade. Steel liners and G10 scales form the handle that carries the four-way clip. With lanyard hole and a high-quality nylon case for storage.

Knife review boker plus

Just to reiterate 'The only thing that might be criticised:
The strong spring makes it quite hard to open, but thats to be expected and well worth the sacrifice considering the almost locked feel when the blade is opened.' So I really love this knife. Just be careful using it for the first time. The spring is so solid it is safe, but make sure your fingers are out of the way when closing. Normally there is a bit of leeway on blade sharpness so it won't cut forefinger, but the spring is so strong, that this will not happen anyway. I actually got a little nick, so bear this in mind. Overall a very safe knife. Also got a little nick so hopeful there is no cancer issues.

Auf den ersten Blick nur gut, auf den zweiten Blick super

Ich muss sagen, dass Konzept des Messers fand ich direkt klasse.
Allerdings fand ich es klobig und nicht schön. Auch die Klingenform erschien mir nicht sehr universell.
Das Gegenteil ist der Fall. Die Klinge bekommt man rasiermesserscharf mit sehr guter Schnitthaltigkeit. Die Form ist sehr praktisch in der Nutzung. Handlage und Balance sind perfekt, die Verarbeitung absolut präzise. Wirkt fast unzerstörbar, wobei sich auch bei härterem Einsatz gezeigt hat, dass die Klinge nicht einklappt.
Rundum ein absolut universelles super gutes EDC aber auch Outdoormesser.
Auch wenn ich mich ans Aussehen gewöhnt habe, wären schönere Griffschalen zum Wechseln schön - Tipp an Blker ;) - und würden dieses Messer somit fast perfekt machen (weil es dann etwas weniger martialisch bei „Nichtmessermenschen“ ankäme)…

Gutes & robustes Arbeitsmesser, Vorsicht beim Zusammenklappen!

Solides Arbeitsmesser, trotz der eher kurzen Klinge gut anwendbar.
Einziger Schwachpunkt - wenn man denkt, dass man die Klinge mit einer Hand zuklappen kann, während man es in der Hand hält, schneidet man sich in den Finger, denn die Schneide geht genau in die Griffmulde hinein.

Perfect Every Day Knife

Outstanding production quality in evey way. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box especially by the nicely done handle scales. The overall finish was equally great. I couldnt see any sharp edges on the handle or the blade's back. The blade was also nicely centered in the handle when folded.
Furthermore, there was and still is no considerable amount of play between blade and handle. Only with quite some force you can feel a little wiggle.
Concernig sharpness: right out of the box it was adequately sharp for a knife of its class.
I havent sharpened it yet in around a year of use and still, the edge looks and cuts just fine.

The only thing that might be criticised:

All in all to me this is the best value EDC knife.
