Since the 19th century, the U.S. manufacturer Marble's is considered one of the pioneers for knives and axes and is still a reliable size for numerous bushcrafters, campers and outdoor enthusiasts. To the great delight of TOPS Knives, Marble's approached with the desire to implement a modern version of the legendary Woodcraft, breathing new life into a knife design that is over 100 years old. The historic versions of the Woodcraft usually had wrapped leather handles and metal bolsters. None of these features are normally typical of knives from TOPS. To cite the look, multi-colored Micarta elements are put together for the handle. Add to that the Midnight Bronze Cerakote coating on the 1095 blade as a harmonious match to the handle. The sheath was designed to match the old-school "cowboy" sheaths, where most of the handle was covered in leather to protect the knife from scratches, especially when going through dense brush. The dimensions and design are as close as possible to the Marble version, with the typical outdoor DNA of TOPS.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.

One Life - One Knife – this is the credo of the famous knife company TOPS from Idaho, in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Their knives are tools, designed and built using the extensive knowledge and real life experiences of many Operators with backgrounds in Military, Law Enforcement, outdoor professions, and Martial Arts. Each model is going to be field tested for six month, before it becomes part of the TOPS line up.

All knives are 1095 High Carbon steel with a special Traction Coating, to prevent the blade from corroding even after a seven day being in salt fog. Because of their strength and reliability many different armed forces appreciate TOPS knives for their missions. Every model is made in the US.
