Collaborations of talented Knife Makers are always something special. The designs by Butch Vallotton and Matt Diskins are no exception, the interplay between curved shapes and technically sophisticated mechanisms is extraordinary. Matt Diskins is specialized in Automatic Knives, but also produces classic knives, while Butch Vallotton designs extravagant Pocket Knives.
Spyderco
In 1981 Sal Glesser and his wife Gail revolutionized the knife industry. In the small town of Golden, not far from Colorado's capital Denver, they founded the now world-famous knife brand Spyderco. Today, Spyderco is still a true pioneer, constantly developing and testing new materials and mechanisms. Over the years, Spyderco has been able to make a name for itself worldwide as an innovative manufacturer of high-quality pocket knives and fixed knives and is now a supplier to numerous police and military forces around the world. For the precise production of the knives, modern high-quality materials are used. Low manufacturing tolerances and high demands on their own work thus inevitably lead to absolutely reliable and practical knives that will not be compromised even under tough conditions.
