Information:
Since 31st October 2024, there has been a general ban on the handling and possession of switchblade knives of all kinds in Germany. They are now prohibited objects and the possession thereof is a criminal offence. The possession of certain switchblade knives is prohibited in accordance with Annex 2 to the German Weapons law, Section 1, Number 1.4.1, and only permitted to persons who have a legitimate interest necessitating one-handed use (such as due to the loss of an arm or a missing or dysfunctional hand), or use them in connection with professional activities (e.g. hunting, crafts) or sports (e.g. sailing or mountaineering). The same applies to commercial dealers or manufacturers of such knives. Consequently, the sale is limited only to authorized individuals. Please verify before placing an order whether you possess such a legitimate interest.
The Boker Plus Thunder Storm Auto designed by Boris Manasherov is a rugged tactical knife. Its pronounced finger choil makes it very handy in any grip position. Fast position changes to a reverse grip or vice versa are supported by the ridges in the blade spine and handle. The black handle scales are milled from aluminum with weight-reducing jimpings. The coated AUS-8 blade has a partial serration and opens automatically with a push button. With a tungsten carbide glass breaker, lanyard hole and repositionable deep-carry clip (tip-up).
Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.
I bought it for self-defense
Good, small tactical knife. I bought it for self-defense. Grip feels safe enough and whole knife is exceptionally well designed. I don’t have a very big experience with this particular type of lock mechanisms, but knife-built quality is so good that I barely see it disappointing me. I have never had Boker brand knife before and from the Spyderco user perspective I can definitely say that this is a world class brand made with quality materials. Never used glass breaker in extreme situation, but it feels safe, well placed and well sized enough. For everyday carry, in this blade division and price range BOKER "Thunder Storm Auto Serrated" is 100% percent good purchase. I am 1.84cm high with exact 64kg weight and this knife for me is a good, small, well designed bladed weapon. Product came in one week on Berlin land and can definitely recommend it to be considered it as a good, well packed gift for yourself and for anyone, who else is capable of owning a weapon.
P.s blade comes reasonably not very sharp, that’s good and online registration for purchase process is very efficient and well organized.
Respect! stay safe! Peace!
