Since 31st October 2024, there has been a general ban on the handling and possession of switchblade knives of all kinds in Germany. They are now prohibited objects and the possession thereof is a criminal offence. The possession of certain switchblade knives is prohibited in accordance with Annex 2 to the German Weapons law, Section 1, Number 1.4.1, and only permitted to persons who have a legitimate interest necessitating one-handed use (such as due to the loss of an arm or a missing or dysfunctional hand), or use them in connection with professional activities (e.g. hunting, crafts) or sports (e.g. sailing or mountaineering). Consequently, the sale is limited only to authorized individuals. Please verify before placing an order whether you possess such a legitimate interest.


The Kershaw Thermal heats up everyday cutting tasks with a slim design and an 8Cr13MoV blade in a two-tone finish. Additional jimpings on the back of the blade and the lockbar increase the safety of the assisted opener. The stainless steel handle with gray PVD coating underlines the elegant appearance and sits comfortably in the hand. The flipper and frame lock ensure smooth opening and locking of the pocket knife, while the reversible tip-up clip allows for flexible carrying options.
