They are now prohibited objects and the possession thereof is a criminal offence. The possession of certain switchblade knives is prohibited in accordance with Annex 2 to the German Weapons law, Section 1, Number 1.4.1, and only permitted to persons who have a legitimate interest necessitating one-handed use (such as due to the loss of an arm or a missing or dysfunctional hand), or use them in connection with professional activities (e.g. hunting, crafts) or sports (e.g. sailing or mountaineering). The same applies to commercial dealers or manufacturers of such knives. Consequently,the sale is limited only to authorized individuals. Please verify before placing an order whether you possess such a legitimate interest.

At the push of a button, the black coated Tanto blade made of D2 opens and is directly where you need it. The design allows perfect use for both right- and left-handed users, as the push button as well as the lock button can be reached from both sides of the textured aluminum handle. The XR Lock known at SOG not only reliably locks the blade during use, but also prevents accidental opening of the knife. With lanyard hole and convertible tip-up clip.
