Information:
Since 31st October 2024, there has been a general ban on the handling and possession of switchblade knives of all kinds in Germany. They are now prohibited objects and the possession thereof is a criminal offence. The possession of certain switchblade knives is prohibited in accordance with Annex 2 to the German Weapons law, Section 1, Number 1.4.1, and only permitted to persons who have a legitimate interest necessitating one-handed use (such as due to the loss of an arm or a missing or dysfunctional hand), or use them in connection with professional activities (e.g. hunting, crafts) or sports (e.g. sailing or mountaineering). The same applies to commercial dealers or manufacturers of such knives. Consequently, the sale is limited only to authorized individuals. Please verify before placing an order whether you possess such a legitimate interest.

With the Boker Plus Shamsher, Darriel Caston and Stan Mojzis have designed a minimalist automatic knife that, with an overall length of just under 12 centimetres, is certainly one of the handiest representatives of its kind. The satin-finished D2 blade is opened automatically by spring force when the trigger, which is reminiscent of a classic flipper, is pressed and securely locked by a linerlock. The flat handle scales are made of textured G10. With small integrated lanyard hole and high-quality nylon case for storage.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.

Tolle Idee, mäßige Qualität

Der Öffnungsmechanismus ist sehr praktisch und die Klinge ist für kleine Aufgaben als EDC-Messer gut geeignet.
Leider löst sich bei mir jedoch der Griff und die Klinge ist nicht mehr fest, sondern wackelt. Das habe ich für den Preis und von Böker nicht erwartet

a little gem

I was immediately attracted by the fact of taking an automatic of such small dimensions. As soon as it arrived, it was love at first sight ... the opening mechanism is brilliant, the shutter is clicked by pressing with a fair amount of force and therefore unintentionally opening the knife is difficult. the grip of the G10 handle cover is good. the value for money is therefore very good and when the version with copper handle is back, I will definitely buy it. nice job Böker !!! Even the personalization of the blade with the laser inscription was done in a very precise way, thank you.

Das Preis / Leistungs-Verhältnis ist super

Das Messer ist wirklich sehr stabil und robust gefertigt; es liegt sehr gut und ausbalanciert in der Hand. Die Klinge ist in Höhe des Schaftes (Griff) sehr breit- das schützt vor Verwindungsschäden. Die Klinge (jedenfalls kann ich mir das nicht vorstellen) nicht einhändig geöffnet oder geschlossen werden, da sie recht schwergängig -aber eben in einem angemessenen Rahmen- zu bedienen ist. Insbesondere beim Schliessen ist es da gut, dass Böker einen (leichten) Widerstand auf der halben Höhe des Schliessweges eingebaut hat - sonst würde man sich nur allzu leicht an der Führhand (die das Messer hält) verletzen. Die Klinge kommt sehr scharf an, und hat sich bislang nicht abgenutzt. Das Messer ist recht schwer und gross in der Hosentasche (das ist aber keinesfalls ein Nachteil, sondern eine Eigenschaft).
Das Preis / Leistungs-Verhältnis ist super; ich sehe das Messer (vorwiegend) bei belastungsintensiven Tätigkeiten

Neat but flawed auto

This knife is really neat when it comes to the size and the mechanics. Also it's nice to have a cheap production model of an expensive custom knife. The bad thing is that the pivot screw loosens up when you keep opening the knife and after a while the blade gets wobbly and you'll have to tighten it. But it won't stay tight and you'll need to keep tightening it all the time. I can't really recommend this one.
