PRT-VIII LEO

The already legendary PRT (Pocket Rescue Tool) from Eickhorn has been enhanced with an innovative function. Every professional user will be familiar with the scenario: for a major event, numerous disposable handcuffs are carried in case of mass arrests. But how can the disposable handcuffs be safely cut later on for the officer and the police? The PRT VIII LEO has all the tried and tested features of PRTs. In cooperation with police and military forces, we have succeeded in integrating a disposable handcuff cutter. The pivoting lever integrated in the back of the handle presses the plastic disposable handcuff onto the sharp, replaceable blade and cuts it effortlessly and without force and, above all, without risk of injury to the police counterpart or the emergency services personnel, as the sharp blade does not have to be folded out. With glass breaker, belt cutter, Eickhorn Professional Plus blade with partial serrated edge, textured G10 handle scales, thumb stud and liner lock for opening and unlocking the rescue knife.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.
