Along with the established Boker Barberettes with a plastic blade receptacle that we already offer, many barbers have been asking for a straight razor knife with a stainless steel receptacle. The receptacle of the Boker Pro Razette is designed to accommodate a half Double Edge (43 mm standard blade) and hold it securely between the two stainless steel parts. This system has been used by professional barbers and hairdressers for many years before we optimized it.

The geometry and size of the Boker Pro Razette follows that of the premium-quality forged straight razors made by the Boker Manufactory Solingen. The bottom of the tang has a fine serration, offering a secure grip even when wet. In order to improve opening the two blade halves, the round point is tapered inward on both sides. When the clamp is removed, the two halves can be easily pushed against each other by means of the round point. Precise riveting and superior craftsmanship ensure precise function and a long life even with heavy use.

The Boker Pro Razette combines professional functionality, a familiar grip and balance and the authentic aesthetics of a classic straight razor. If you are just starting out, it is an alternative to a forged straight razor at a lower price point. Before inserting, the double blades need to be carefully broken in half. Comes with historic packaging and a double-edged blade. Thanks to its high density and oil content, olive wood is perfectly suited for contact with water. The vibrant pattern adds visual interest. This model is finished with the classic Boker tree, which is delicately integrated into the wooden handle.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.

hochwertiges Rasiermesser

Das Messer kam schnell und ordentlich verpackt in einer relativ edlen schwarzen Box an (inkl. einer Klinge).

Ich rasiere mich schon seit meiner Jugend mit Barbiermessern und wollte endlich mal etwas hochwertigeres. Daher fiel meine Wahl auf dieses Produkt.

Die Verarbeitung finde ich super. Die Qualität wird an jeder Stelle erkennbar. Die Handhabung ist ebenfalls praktikabel. Die beiden Vorrichtungen, die mit der Klinge reingeschoben werden, erleichtern einiges. Klinge durchbrechen, in die Halterung und durchschieben. Dadurch sitzt die Klinge sicher und fest, sodass nichts schief gehen kann. Sonst musste ich immer nach der Halbierung der Klinge noch zusätzlich die Ecken abbrechen. Das entfällt hier.

Das Messer liegt jedoch etwas schwerer in der Hand, da es meiner Meinung nach massiver ist als die billigeren Messer. Nach 2-3 Mal Rasieren ist das aber schnell vergessen.

Ich bin bislang sehr zufrieden und bin glücklich darüber, ein hochwertiges Rasiermesser zu haben. Es ist m.E. sowohl für Einsteiger als auch für Erfahrenere geeignet.

Excellent changeable blades razor

Arrived in a beautiful packaging, elegant and "precious" box, silver lettering on a matt black background, instructions and DE blade: the razor looks good, classic and well assembled, excellent materials and finishes. I really appreciate the tapers on the tip of the blade holder to open the clamp and the four fixing points of the SE blade; the blade edge protrudes less than the Proraso so it will certainly be less aggressive in the attack even if the tip is less rounded, almost square. Very fluid and precise in opening and closing, the handle-blade joint pin seems almost lubricated: I would not call it a game movement but rather the effect of a precise assembly and anti-friction washers. The adherence of the fingers to the blade holder is ensured by the hinted and almost invisible but very effective knurling, very beautiful color and tactile effect of the wooden handle. Excellent razor, only the shaving test will make me decide which razor to keep in my travel bag and which one to use daily. For now I am satisfied, better live than in photos.
The first shaving test was successful, wonderful result, excellent razor I must say! It flows everywhere, it aligns "alone" on the edges, I love it, grade 9 waiting to evaluate the loose pin. Outstanding Razor Pro! After 20 days my evaluation is a 10: the cheek-blade smoothness given by the well-assembled pin makes the handle and the consequent shaving comfortable and effective!

Sehr zufrieden

Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Wechselklingenhalter, die Klinge lässt sich problemlos fixieren und sitzt dann bombenfest. Mich hat insbesondere die Optik überzeugt, die hier deutlich näher an klassischen Rasiermessern dran ist, als vergleichbare Halter.

Non-fixable blade. Very poor and dangerous.

1-Is not possible to fix the blade!, that moves during and after the closing. You have to push with the nail the blade for permitting it will be inserted until the end.
2- Is not possible to close the handle!, that will open at the minimum movement. You have to cut the blade with a special scissor to insert the blade and not let moving it during the serration of the opening system.
3- The blade stop safety tab does not close properly !,but tends to open and can be opened very easily if you touch it, allowing the blade to move.

- Conclusions; a very dangerous razor because it is not possible to fix the blade which in any case, even if fixed manually, can move at any time since the tab stop is not stationary and tight around the tabs that house the blade.
