The slim slipjoint knife is equipped with a saber-knife blade made of stainless 4034 steel, which opens by nail cut and does not lock. To protect it from scratches and dirt, the pocket knife comes with a high-quality felt case. Handmade in the Boker Manufactory Solingen. The handle scales made of fine rosewood are set in elegant nickel silver bolsters, while the three rivets in the handle add a decorative accent.

Warning and safety information:

Klein und fein, könnte aber etwas schärfer ab Werk sein

Schöner kleiner Gentleman-folder made in Solingen, den Böker für einen
sehr fairen Preis anbietet. Die Verarbeitung ist gut, alle Übergänge von Holz
zu Nieten und Backen sind glatt und kaum spürbar. Zwischen Platinen und Feder sind keine sichtbaren Spalte. Die Klinge läuft gut und es ist kein Klingenspiel fühlbar. Die Feder ist recht kräftig und sie hält die Klinge sicher.
Auch ein half-stop ist vorhanden, der die Klinge zuverlässig fängt.
Die Klinge selbst ist schön poliert und die Spitze sitzt ziemlich mittig zwischen den Platinen.
Ein Kritikpunkt ist für mich der Umstand, dass das Messer leider bei Anlieferung nicht sonderlich scharf war. Mein Opinel z.B. war da ab Werk wesentlich schärfer.
P.S.: Habe mein Exemplar noch bei einem Händler in Freiburg online ergattert.
