Inspired by the picturesque surroundings of the Magdalena Mountains in New Mexico, CRKT Montosa is a pocketknife with a straightforward design and practical details. When the American knifemaker Richard Rogers is not designing knives, he works on his huge ranch at the foot of these mountains. Each of his knives is extensively tested in hard working conditions and must meet the highest standards. The powerful 8Cr13MoV blade is suitable for both rough and fine work and is operated with the thumbstud on both sides. A sturdy linerlock secures the blade. The purple anodized ring around the axial screw and the spacer in the same color set a delightful visual accent. The black handle scales of structured G10 have wide grooves, which increase the grip. With a lanyard hole and reversible clip (tip-up/l-r).

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.
