Design by requirement is the Credo of the legendary blacksmiths TOPS located in Idaho in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. The company has an extremely high level of official input since many of TOPS employees can look back at a long career in the Police or Military and still have a lot of connections with the authorities. Each model is tested for at least 6 months under field conditions before it goes into serial production. The utterly sturdy knife blades are primarily made of the frequently approved 1095 carbon steel and protected against corrosion with a special abrasion-resistant powder coating (developed especially for TOPS). This so-called traction coating has passed the particularly demanding salt spray test of the US Military for 7 days. Due to the sturdiness and reliability, TOPS knives are particularly appreciated as important items of equipment by the Allied Forces in present areas of crisis. All models by TOPS are Made in the USA!

Daniel Certo, custom knifemaker and designer has proven his excellent feeling for shape and functionality by creating numerous successful designs. The M1 Midget, his latest creation with a compact blade length of only 9.5 cm provides a multitude of different fields of application, be it for everyday life, as hunting knife or for the armed forces in field operations. The blade of 1095 carbon steel is black coated. The blade spine is partially serrated to cut ropes and nets with no effort. The deep finger groove prevents the slipping onto the sharp edge. The Midget is delivered with a high-quality Kydex sheath with a revolving metal clip that allows for a multitude of carrying options. Micarta scales with red fiber underlays. Includes emergency whistle.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.

One Life - One Knife – this is the credo of the famous knife company TOPS from Idaho, in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Their knives are tools, designed and built using the extensive knowledge and real life experiences of many Operators with backgrounds in Military, Law Enforcement, outdoor professions, and Martial Arts. Each model is going to be field tested for six month, before it becomes part of the TOPS line up.

All knives are 1095 High Carbon steel with a special Traction Coating, to prevent the blade from corroding even after a seven day being in salt fog. Because of their strength and reliability many different armed forces appreciate TOPS knives for their missions. Every model is made in the US.
