Flipjoint
All knives sold by us within Germany are allowed under the German weapons law in general, but there are still differences in the way they are handled. Thanks to the innovative Flipjoint mechanism, modern pocket knives with flipper can now be used without hesitation in all everyday situations without having to suppress the play instinct.
The innovative Flipjoint mechanism combines the popular flipper opening with the legally uncritical Slipjoint closure. The blade is opened effortlessly via flipper, but does not lock afterwards and can be closed again without much pressure. And the BKA (declaratory decision Z-524) also shares our view that the detent ball mechanism does not constitute a locking device within the meaning of the German Weapons Act.
